About

Writer, Researcher, and Public Speaker

A few faded photographs and a handful of family stories. That’s how it started. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the vanished world of my ancestors, researching and writing about our roots in Austrian Galicia and Philadelphia in the early 20th century.

My articles have been published on The National Library of Israel Blog and in local and international genealogical journals.

I’m a member of Gesher Galicia, an international organization dedicated to Jewish genealogical and historical research in the former Austro-Hungarian Province. I’m also a member of the Jewish Genealogical and Archival Society of Greater Philadelphia and I serve on their Speakers’ Bureau. It’s a joy to present my work to local and international audiences.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and I live in Philadelphia with my husband and Remy, my highly accomplished canine research assistant.
